Gift Caricatures Of Your Loved Ones:

Caricatures are drawn from photographs. All I require are 2 or 3 good close up, recentish pictures of the person(s) you'd like me to draw. You can email or post them to me. All photos will be returned to you afterwards. You may like to tell me some information on the persons hobbies, interests, pastimes, favourite football team etc, if you want a lot of personal details to be included in the picture. Some 'background details' or a relevant funny situation you'd like the person to be depicted in, make a more personalised caricature. I can draw people in any kind of situation, so we can make it as daft as you like!
Prices from £60. Prices depend on the size of the caricature you would like: A4 (210 x 297mm), A3 (297 x 420mm) or perhaps even bigger. Prices also depend on whether you'd like your caricature to be in colour or black & white and if there may be more than one person to be caricatured in the picture. Prices also depend on whether you'd like me to frame the finished artwork or not.

Gift Caricatures Drawn In 'Live Style'
You can also commission me to do gift caricatures of your loved ones, family and friends in my 'live work' style: A3 sized simple 'head and shoulders' type caricatures (no props or scenarios), drawn with black and grey markers from photos. £25 each for a single person caricature or £35 for a couple. These type of caricatures are very affordable, popular and quick to produce (usually within 24 hours). Great gifts for any occasion!

Why not hire me to attend your special occasion or event to draw caricatures of you and your guests?
Whether it's a wedding reception, birthday party, dinner or team building event I can happily mingle amongst your guests producing 'on the spot' caricatures. Guarunteed to keep your guests amused, gets the 'banter' going and makes an original artistic souvenier to take home! I can usually produce around 8 - 10 black & white caricatures in one hour. I am based in Glasgow but can travel all over the country. From Oxford to Inverness, I've been there with my pens! I use a lightweight portable easel to draw live caricatures on A3 or A4 paper with instant dry markers so there's no mess! I can use the easel from a seated or standing position. The great thing about the easel is that people can peek over my shoulder and see the caricatures taking shape before their eyes, therefore it's entertaining for onlookers as well as the 'victim' being drawn!
Another popular service I offer is to draw on paper which has been specially pre-printed with your own personal message / or business logo which makes the caricature unique to the guests at your particular event.
E.g. (For a wedding) : "Clare and Martin would like to say thanks for sharing our special day with us! 24th of August 2008."
Your text would be tastefully displayed along the bottom of the page, with my caricature of the guest(s) above.
All I require from you is to to provide a well lit area for me to work in, in order for me to be able to see who I am drawing. Please bear this in mind when considering booking times; as at evening events, lights tend to be dimmed when the meal, DJ, band, comedian or any other entertainment takes place.

By booking me directly, you can be confident and sure that you get me! I.E: You are guarunteed to get the specific artist of your choice for your event. The same cannot be said if you were to hire any caricaturist via an agency or Cartoon Studio, as they use various artists with 'varying degrees of abilities and talent!' Please bear this in mind when looking for a caricaturist and compare my work with others, as all caricaturists are different! So, get the caricaturist you want and book me today before someone else does!
