Artists notes: In 2006 Lorraine Kelly topped a poll of famous females men secretly fancy (And I thought it was just me!). My preliminary sketches had been made from her morning TV appearances, but then I found an unofficial website, tastefully but enthusiastically devoted to the charm and 'physical attributes' of lovely Lorraine. The site's photos made a far better basis for caricature, so my thanks to all the like-minded Lorraine-lovers out there!
The above piece was used as the main figure head image on all of the 'Fizzers' exhibition promotional posters, leaflets, flyers and press ads etc at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh, 2006.The piece can also be seen in the book 'Fizzers - Famous Scottish Faces Caricatured'
